Ferrari has finally unveiled the brand’s first V6 hybrid-powered engine vehicle named 296 GTB, its transition to electrified cars.

Ferrari has finally unveiled 296 GTB, as the brand’s first six-cylinder engine fitted after a long time and slowly going to the path of future electrified vehicles. The vehicle is positioned above the F8 tributo, it is claimed to be the most fun to drive Ferrari within the Ferrari portfolio, along with its F1 expertise. The 296 GTB uses a 2.9-liter six-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. Ferrari 296 GTB will be the first six-cylinder sportscar, since the Dino 246 and it’s been priced at Euro 269,000.
The bookings have been starting already commenced in the European market, and the deliveries will start in early next year for the European market and will be launched in the USA market in late 2022. The 2.9 Litre V6 petrol engine, belts out 654 PS of maximum power output. Although, the electric motor helps in increasing the combined output to 819 HP and 740 Nm of maximum torque. While, as compared with its rival McLaren Artura Hybrid the Ferrari 296 GTB develop more power. The sportscar can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 2.9 seconds, and it can reach up to 200 Kmph in just 7.9 seconds and can go up to a top speed of 330 kmph.
Although talking about the exterior design, the sportscar is inspired by the SF90 and the 250 LM racer of the 60s. the 296 GTB also features an active rear spoiler, which looks beautiful and claimed to be one of the nice-looking creations of the Italian manufacturer in the modern day. It aids 360 kilograms of downforce at the speed of 250 Kmph. As for the interior, it gets Dino inspired dashboard design with a retro-themed gear selector borrowed from SF90. The electric motor boasts mounted between the IC engine and the 8-speed transmission system while the battery pack of 7.45 KWh is mounted under the floor. The brand has claimed to behave the electric range of 25 Km – slightly lower than the Artura.
