The Famous Drug dealer from Columbia Pablo Escobar, takes the country from nowhere to on World map. Today, we have his infamous most amazing benchmark from Porsche 911 3.0 RSR IROC. This is a Porsche 911 with a very special pedigree that is currently on sale at Atlantis-based Motor group. It’s very special for its arrestable styling, features, and quality and more importantly for its previous owners. With its yellow Fitial ivory, this one comes straight from 4 decades earlier 1974.
It was that period in which the Porsche 911 taken part in the very first international racing event of IROC. A series that brought the world’s best drivers behind the wheel of identically prepared cars, competing on a variety of racing tracks. In total only 15 units were made of Porsche 911 3.0 RSR IROC models and one was purchased by very famous drug dealer Pablo Escobar. This particular car was driven by the famous driver Emerson. It would rather be started at the first line if he would have made the drivers meeting, which pushed him back in 11th Sport at the racing event.
However, he tried his best to get in front but due to fuel leakage in 911 made he stopped and was done for that year of racing. All the 15 IROC was sold to Penske productions under the guiding hand of roger Penske. Although, in the IROC series many drivers were eliminated so Penske doesn’t need all 15 cars which made them sell the cars to Stint and then to John Tunstall who raced the car in 12 hours racing event and then in 24 hours racing event. It was after that time the car goes to Pablo Escobar, but the car was still used in the racing event in its 935-body kit. The drug lord kept the car to himself until his death, after that the car again goes back to Penske productions and now it is in a sale at Atlantis motor group with over $2 Million sale price which is quite a lot for this old.
