Hyundai the South Korean brand has made a huge name in the Indian auto market, with some huge hits like Santro, i20 and Creta. The company has always remained in demand in every season. And with the sales figures coming from the last month, the company has scored its highest ever sales made in the month of November.
With the recent data flow, the company has grossed a total of 59,200 units which counts a 9.4 per cent increase in the total units sold from last the year for the month of November. However, the company got a 29.01 per cent decrease in sale compared to the last month according to the MoM (month on month) sales records. This decrease was expected as November was a post-festive month for the Indian market so the sales were meant to decline.
Star of Hyundai’s Success
The star of this Hyundai’s success was the launch of the new facelift for the new Hyundai i20 that came in with 24 variants. Hyundai even boosted there booking of the new i20 with over 20,000 bookings achieved in mere 20 days. The new Hyundai i20 comes feature packed with the top variant having features than no other of its competitors currently possess.
The new Hyundai i20 currently comes in three different engine options first being the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 83/88PS (MT/CVT) of power and up to 114Nm of torque. Second, is the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing 120PS of power and up to 172Nm of torque coupled with either a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed iMT transmission gearbox. And lastly where all other companies are abandoning their Diesel variants for the hatchbacks Hyundai still retaining the trust in the diesel variant that comes with a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine capable of producing 100PS of power and up to 240Nm of torque coupled with only a six-speed manual transmission gearbox.
