Here we have put together the brand-wise sales analysis of two-wheeler manufacturers in the Indian market for the month of June 2021.
- Hero MotoCorp yet again led the monthly sales for the Two-wheeler space last month
- Bajaj Auto registered 3,10,578 units in June 2021 against 2,55,122 units in same month last year
- Chennai based manufacturer registered a cumulative 350cc sales of 37,258 units last month
Just like the four-wheeler space the two-wheeler space is also slowly gaining decent sales numbers as the lockdown is lifting off in many states in India. The numbers for June 2021 have been improved as compared on MoM as well as on a YoY basis. Once again, Her MotoCorp leading the monthly sales with more than 4,00,000 units were dispatched last month, resulted in YoY growth of 1.7 percent. In cumulative Hero registered 4,69,160 units last month against 4,18,141 units with getting a 3.8 percent sales growth.
Although, the entire automotive has been hoping to gain more and more numbers as the festive season is just a few months away. While the largest exporter of two-wheelers from India, Bajaj Auto registered 3,10,578 units last month, against 2,55,122 units in the same period last year, getting 22 percent positive sales growth. As for the exports stands the brand exported 1,54,938 units last month against 1,08,427 units that were dispatched in June 2020, getting 43 percent of positive sales growth. On the other hand, TVS Motor company garnered a total sale of 2,38,092 units last month against 1,91,076 units in June 2020.
Which resulted in the brand getting a decent sales growth of 25 percent on a YoY basis. Domestically, the brand registered a sale of 1,45,413 units in June 2021, against 1,44,871 units in June 2020, along with 92,679 units were exported. Honda Two-wheeler space posted a cumulative sale of 2,34,029 units last month garnered 2,10,879 units in June 2020. Although, the Japanese brand has exported 21,583 units last month. Royal Enfield posted 37,258 units of 350cc, in the above segment the brand garnered 5,790 units. Although, the sales numbers will grow in the coming months as the brand has scaled up its operations. While Suzuki and Yamaha haven’t revealed their monthly sales chart yet.
