BMW M 1000 RR images teased ahead of its official launch, in the Indian market as the first M performance bike of India.

BMW Motorrad released a video of their first M 1000 RR for the Indian market, on their official Instagram page. The teaser released on brands’ social platforms shows the launch of the motorcycle real soon, although the specific date yet is revealed by the officials. The BMW M 1000 RR was globally unveiled in September last year and based on the highly popular product S 1000 RR sportbike. Although the M performance department is responsible for making high performance, high end, and really super-fast cars, hence the new M motorcycle carry the same heritage of BMW M-performance beasts. It could be priced at Rs 35 lakh ex-showroom, for the official price we have to wait till next month.

BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR powered with the same engine as in the S 1000 RR, although many performance changes can be seen in the new M 1000 RR compared with the standard one. The Changes could include, litter connecting rods, slimmer and lighter rocker arms, a fully machined intake port with new duct geometry, and so on. The Standard S 1000 RR powered with a 999cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, that is capable enough to generate 212 PS of maximum power at 14,500 Rpm and 113 Nm of peak torque at 11,000 Rpm. The engine mated with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox system. The bike rides on an inverted telescopic front forks suspension and an aluminum swingarm on the rear.

The braking is handled by disc brakes on both the wheels along with a dual-channel ABS system, traction control, hill-start control, wheelie control, and electronic aids. The Bike comes with a different mode as well, rain, road, dynamic, race, and race pro. As compared with the standard 1000 RR, the M version could get a lot of carbon fiber to reduce a lot of weight. The Bike tips the scale at just 192 Kg. As of now, BMW Motorrad offers S 1000 RR in three variants, S 1000 RR standard priced at Rs 19.50 lakh, S 1000 RR pro priced at Rs 21.40 lakh, and S 1000 RR Pro MSport priced at Rs 23.75 lakh respectively. The upcoming M 1000 RR obviously positioned at Top of the line of the S 1000 RR sport-bike.
