Bajaj most popular nameplate Pulsar yet again comes gaining the decent sales number in May 2021 sales chart.

The homegrown two-wheeler manufacturer pulsar nameplate is the most popular bike series in the Indian market among young enthusiasts. Bajaj offered a range of pulsar bikes starting from 125 ccs to 220 ccs. Bajaj cumulatively sold 39,625 units of Pulsar last month against 66,586 units in April 2021, getting a massive drop of 40.4 percent on an MoM basis in a monthly sales chart. Ever, since the launch of Pulsar 125, it is well accepted by buyers and continues to give a decent sales number for the brand.
Pulsar 125 gained 28,636 units last month against 35,891 units in April 2021, getting a decline of 20.2 percent on an MoM basis. Yet again Pulsar 125 continued to lead the nameplate with gaining numbers and finishing at the top of the chart. The Pulsar 150 registered 8,638 units last month against 21,100 units in April 2021, with getting sales decline of 59 percent on an MoM basis. However, the combined sales figures for Pulsar 160, 180, and 200 stood at 1,325 units in May 2021, against 5,681 units in April 2021.
The combined sales when compared with April 2021 sales, it saw a massive decline of 76.6 percent on an MoM basis. The pulsar 220F manages to sell only 1,026 units last month, and when compared on a month-on-month basis it gets a 73.7 percent negative sales growth, as 3,914 units were sold in April 2021. While, Bajaj has expanded the pulsar line-up with a new entry-level NS model, the NS125. Launched back in April 2021, price range starting from Rs 93,690 ex-showroom, and offered in four color schemes.
