Recently Volkswagen made a global launch of its new improved Tiguan Allspace 2022 crossover SUV which will be going on sale later this year and also will be making its entry to the Indian markets in early 2022. Although this is a mid-cycle update but still this facelift will carry some changes to the interior, exterior, and features. - Bigger in Size
The new Tiguan Allspace 2022 will be a tad bit longer than its predecessor and to be exact 20 mm longer which will be due to the new design of the car however, the interior space of the car will still remain the same size.
- Updated exterior design
Starting from the front facia where the car now gets some updates like a new split headlamp setup which also consists of a new LED DRLs design, a new updated grille with a unique horizontal LED strip in the mid, a reprofiled front bumper. for the sides, the new Tiguan Allspace 2022 get some bigger and better tires whose size will depend upon the trim you choose and will vary from standard 17 inches to big 20 inches. For the rear, the car will be getting a new taillight design, Tiguan badging at the centre of the boot gate and an updated rear bumper.
- Changes to interior
The updated interior of the 2022 Tiguan will be getting a standard 8-inch infotainment system which also can be upgraded to a bigger 10-inch digital infotainment system consisting of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay however, this feature will be excluded from the base trim which will have to suffice with the regular 8-inch screen.
- Upgraded safety
The safety features on the new 2022 Tiguan will consist of features like front collision alert, rear traffic alert, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection and many more which will be a part of the new IQ.Drive suite.
- Updated comfort features
The car will also be getting some feature changes like heated front seats with optional ventilated seats, a new panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging and a new Harman Kardon music system.
