Since this financial year starts many manufacturers have launched their SUVs in the Indian market. While many manufacturers want to forget the last year 2020, although many big launches have taken place last year like, new-Gen Hyundai I20, Kia Sonet, and many more, if everything goes by the plan 2021 would be even better than last year. In this year also many brands have lined up their big launch in the coming months.4 SUV launching, here is the list of 4 SUV launching in the next few months in the domestic market: –
- Citroen C5 Aircross
Citroen is all set to make their long-awaited debut with their new SUV C5 Aircross in the mid-Size segment as the first offering from the brand. The C5 directly rivals the likes of Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson in the domestic market. It uses a 2.0 Litre inline 4-cylinder diesel engine that develops a maximum power output of 177 PS and 400 Nm of peak torque. Although pricing is yet to be announced, it is expected to priced at Rs 30 lakhs ex-showroom.
- Tata hornbill
Tata Motors has revealed their Micro-SUV concept in last year’s Auto Expo called HBX, although the production-ready version of the car is named Hornbill. Upon, the arrival of the Micro-SUV, Hornbill will go on becoming the most affordable SUV offering from tata, launched below Nexon. The entry-level SUV will be equipped with a floating touchscreen system with the smartphone connectivity that supports Android auto apple car play, semi-digital cluster split headlamps, LED DRLs, and a Harman sourced audio system.
- Next-gen Mahindra XUV500
The Mahindra XUV500 has regained its place in the Mid-Size SUV segment, the majority of the last decade. Mahindra launched XUV500 a few years ago, and now the next generation was spotted testing at road many times and will get a host of changes inside out. The Spy shots reveal that the next-generation XUV 500 will gets a fully digital cluster, large touchscreen infotainment, panoramic sunroof, a few advanced safety measures and technology, and so on.
Hyundai Motors India limited going to launch a three-row SUV version of Creta to rivals with the likes of, MG hector plus, Tata safari, and Next Generation Mahindra XUV500. As compared to Creta, the 3-row version of the Mid-size SUV named Alcazar as per reports. Alcazar will get, updated front grille, flatter roof rails, rear quarter, redesigned C-pillar, and redesigned tail lamps as well compared with ongoing new-gen Creta. The Powertrains likely to offer with Alcazar could be, 1.5 Litre NA petrol, 1.4 Litre Turbo petrol, and 1.5 Litre Diesel engine unit, same as with the Creta. Alcazar expected to be Rs 1 lakh or Rs 1.5 lakh more in comparison with Creta.
