2022 Yamaha Zuma 125 Scooter has been unveiled globally, and first, go on sale in the US market in July 2021.

2022 Yamaha Zuma 125 off-roader scooter makes its global debut today, with a host of updates and newly added features. The Updated scooter features a rugged design with asymmetrical twin headlamps at the front with adjustable beams, and a new body panel as well. The Scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels along with off-roader tires and a tall rack which adds up a sportier look to the scooter. The Zuma 125 builds on a steel tube frame chassis inspired by a step-through design. The Scooter continues to feature conventional telescopic front forks and dual rear shockers offering 3.2 inches and 3.1 inches suspension travel respectively.
The Zuma 125 off-roader scooter available in two color options in the USA – Matte black and Team Yamaha blue. The off-roader scooter will first go on sale in the US market from July 2021 and will be priced from $3,699. Although, the Zuma 125 won’t make its way to the Indian market, courtesy of its higher price tag in comparison with other available scooters in India. The Scooter has 30.9 inches of seating height which is slighter higher than the predecessor, but the shape of the single-piece seat is quite narrow which helps easy reach the ground.
2022 Yamaha Zuma 125 comes powered by a 125-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which belts out 9 HP of maximum power and 9 Nm of peak torque and coupled with centrifugal clutch and V-belt automatic transmission system. The company claims that Zuma 125 can deliver a fuel economy of around 43 Kmpl(101Mpg). The braking is handled by a dual disc brake, 245 mm disc at the front wheel, and a 230 mm disc brake at the rear wheel, along with a linked braking system. That being said, the rear brake lever applies brake force on the front as well as on the rear wheel, while the front brake lever only applies braking force to the front wheel only.
