2022 breeza will be using the same architecture and platform as the outgoing model however despite using the same global C platform as Suzuki 2022 Brezza, expected to get a 5-star safety rating. It must be noted at the current model has also received a 4-star safety rating which is one of the best across all Maruti models currently on sale in India. Maruti’s expected to use the same powertrain which we saw in 2022 Ertiga.
The setup consists of a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated dual VVT petrol engine which comes along with progressive smart hybrid technology. Transmission options could be a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Power output figures should stand close to 101 HP of maximum power and 137 Nm of peak torque. CNG fuel option might be offered right from the start however there is no confirmation as of now.
With all the updates and upgrades the 2022 Brezza will carry a higher strike price than its pre-facelift version. To increase the interest of customers pricing of the base model might be aggressive however fully-loaded top-end spec is expected to cost around 12,00,000 Ex-Showroom.
