Mahindra and Mahindra finance unveiled the exterior design of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N and ahead of launch on 27th June 2022 the engine figures of the daddy of all SUVs are leaked.

The power output and torque figures of the Scorpio N engine have been leaked ahead of launch. The 2-liter turbocharged petrol in the 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine is taken from that are in xuv 700. The petrol engine will produce 170 PS of maximum power whereas the XUV700 produces 200 PS of maximum power another produces 150 PS of maximum power. Mahindra follows the same technique as the current Scorpio, the lower variants produce 120 PS and offer a 5-speed manual transmission while the higher variant produces 140 PS offered with 6-speed manual transmission. Once the Scorpio N is launched, the current Scorpio will not be discontinued but will continue to be on sale and will be called Scorpio classic.
