2022 Land Rover Defender V8 engine specification has been unveiled, with additional larger infotainment and few cosmetics updates.

Landrover has finally revealed the V8 5.0 Litre supercharged version of Defender, which will be producing a maximum power output of 525 PS and 625 Nm of peak torque, respectively. The Transmission offered in a standard 5-speed automatic gearbox system sending power to all four wheels. It can go from 0-100 Kmph (62Mph) in just 4.9 seconds, claimed by the manufacturer, and has a top speed of 240 Kmph. Landrover has also a little tuned-up suspension system, along with larger anti-roll bars to reduce body roll. Electronic Active rear differential fitment now came as standard.

2022 V8 defender also features, Quad chrome exhaust pipe, massive 22-inch alloy wheels, Xenon blue finish brake calipers, along with V8 badging over the structure. It is offered in both 90(2 doors) and 110 (5 doors) body styles. Only available in three body color options – Carpathian grey, Yulong White, and Santorini Black. Interior gets new Ebony Windsor leather upholstery, with Miko Suede cloth and Robusta Accents. Also, at the interior, it gets a leather-wrapped multi spokes steering wheel with mounted major controls, which gives premium cabin space. As for interior features, it gets standard wireless charging, a standard 10.1 Pivi pro touchscreen infotainment system along an optional 11.4-inch infotainment unit.

Buyers can opt for the Carpathian edition, which features grey paint, a black roof, a black hood, and a tailgate. This variant also gets a semi-matte finish on the exterior. Other than that, buyers can go for the Defender “First edition” variant with the new XS edition, which is offered in only a 3.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with mild hybrid assistance. On the exterior, it features 20-inch alloy wheels, Ebony leather upholstery, along with the 12-way adjustable front driver and passengers’ seats with ventilated features, cooled and heated seats. 2022 Land Rover Defender V8 will launch at the start of 2022. It will directly rival the likes of Mercedes-Benz G-wagon and Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
