 2021 Yamaha XSR155 is offered in few ASEAN and European markets. While the debut of the bike in India is still under wraps, no official report has been revealed the launch of XSR155 In our market. Although, the Japanese manufacturer keeps on expanding their XSR series lineup, as they recently launched XSR125 in the European market, which shares its underpinnings with MT-125 and R125. Now, XSR155 getting a minor update in few ASEAN markets, as it is the best-selling model from the brand. New 2021 XSR155 gets an added new Matte green paint scheme with ribbed single-piece seat in tan color.

In Indonesia, the retro-styled motorcycle XSR155 new paint scheme priced at Rp 36,580,000. That being said, the new green color arouses a vintage vibe from the bike. As opposed to the standard version, it gets a front fender painted in green and new blacked-out points, other than that few cosmetic changes have been made. While the powertrain remains the same as earlier, similar as in naked streetfighter MT-15 and YZF-R15 V3.0. the suspension duties are performed by upside-down front forks and monoshock rear suspension.

2021 Yamaha XSR155 comes powered with a 155 ccs single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor with variable valve actuation technology. The motor develops a maximum power output of 19.3 PS at 10,000 Rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 Rpm when mated with a 6-speed sequential gearbox system, along with an assist clutch and a slipper as standard. The braking is handled by twin-disc brakes one in front and one on the rear wheel with dual-channel ABS system. With no intention of launching XSR155 in India soon, the brand is working on the debut of its new bike based on FZ V3 F1.
