2021 Yamaha Nmax 125 launched in Japanese market, with the host of updates and will go on sale from 28th June.

Yamaha has announced the much-anticipated launch of the 2021 Nmax maxi-scooter in its home country. The maxi-scooter is available for sale from 28th June 2021, in the Japanese market. The updated scooter comes equipped with lots of new features and technical changes. The 2021 Nmax 125 comprises dual LED headlamps, LED DRLs, and LED taillights. The Maxi-Scooter has a bulky but aerodynamic design and the scooter gets stepped with a single-piece seat with a pillion grab rail. The fuel tank features repositioned fuel tank, which comprises 4.4 Litre of fuel capacity.
The updated 2021 Nmax scooter features new 13-inch blacked-out alloy wheels on both ends. The suspension is taken care of by pair of telescopic front forks, along with a twin monoshock absorber on the rear wheel. The scooter also equipped with switchable traction control to keep things safe especially for new riders. 2021 Yamaha Nmax 125 features a fully digital LCD instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, using the Yamaha Myride app riders enable status report, battery condition, last parked, fuel gauge, fuel consumption figures, and so on.
2021 Yamaha Nmax 125 scooter comes powered with a 124-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine coupled with Euro 5 emission norms. The engine can generate 11.8 HP of maximum power and 11 Nm of peak torque when mated with CVT automatic transmission gearbox system. The Nmax gets Yamaha VVA’s (variable valve actuation) technology, which improves the power delivery per revolution, along with start/stop for better fuel efficiency. 2021 Nmax scooter priced at JPY 3,68,000 (INR Rs 2,46 lakh), no Indian launch is confirmed by the manufacturer.
