Volkswagen has their hands full with tons of new cars releasing next month and some revealing today like the new five-seater SUV variant of its Tiguan and along with that the company also revealed its another new five-seater SUV the Volkswagen Taigun. Both the cars Taigun and Tiguan sound pretty similar so will be their price where the Hyundai Creta competitor Volkswagen Taigun will be priced slightly lower than the 5-seater Tiguan which will further be priced below the older Tiguan Allspace.

The mid-cycle facelift to the Tiguan in India is identical to the global version facelift Tiguan which was launched later last year, and from the official images revealed by the company, the car resembles its spied shots which were captured earlier, but with some minor exterior changes.

Talking about the design and features of the car, the new 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift gets many similarities to its bigger sibling like the same three chrome slat horizontal grille, similar projector headlamp setup with L-shaped LED DRLs integrated inside, however, the car does get a reprofiled front bumper with wide central air damps and a blacked-out C-shape housing to either side. For the sides, the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan facelift gets elegant character line with chrome windows lining, grey coloured roof rails, new alloy wheel design, black side body cladding and for the rear, the car gets a new tail lamp design with a tweaked rear bumper, a shark fin antenna and a roof mounted spoiler.

From the images, we can see the 4Motion badging on the boot door which indicates that the car will be powered by a similar 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI turbocharged petrol engine, capable of producing a max power output of 187 PS and a max torque output of 320 Nm, which will be mated with a 7-speed DSG transmission gearbox with 4WD option as standard.
