2021 Volkswagen Polo Comfortline Automatic launched in the Indian market and becomes India’s most affordable AT hatchback.

Volkswagen Passenger car India has announced the launch of Polo Comfortline Automatic trim. Currently, Volkswagen retails polo with four different variants named trendline, Comfortline, Highline Plus, and GT grades. The entry-level trendline and Comfortline come powered with a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder MPI engine, which is capable enough to develop 75 BHP of maximum power and 95 Nm of peak torque. While the rest of the trim line powered with a 1.0 Litre TSI engine. The German manufacturer has further expanded the 6-speed automatic torque convertor trims.

Currently, the polo offers seven trims with a 6-speed torque convertor which includes Highline Plus, GT grade and now Comfortline also offers the automatic transmission gearbox system. While, speaking on the announcement of launch VPCI, brand direct Ashish Gupte, said” We are extremely happy to announce the new trim line in the Polo hatchback family, Comfortline AT for our loyal customers. The polo continues to be a strong contender in the space and with this addition, our endeavors continuously engage with customers”.

As for performance the Polo Comfortline AT comes powered by a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbocharged TSI petrol engine, which is capable enough to develop 109 HP of maximum power and 175 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain comes coupled with a 6-speed torque converter and claimed to have a fuel economy of 16.47 Kmpl. the Polo Comfortline AT TSI offered in five color paint job flash red, sunset red, candy white, reflex silver, and carbon steel. Recently, the brand has unveiled the new generation Polo in the global market and it is built on the manufacturer-new MQB A0 IN platform. Although, no official statement has been made for the Indian launch yet.
