2021 Tata Safari Gold edition launched in India with visual updates and new color options. Safari Gold will debut at the second phaser of VIVO IPL 2021.

2021 Tata safari gold edition launched in the Indian market priced at Rs 21.89 lakh ex-showroom. The new generation safari was launched back in February this year and since the launch, the SUV is well accepted by customers as well. The popularity can be seen in terms of sales as well. It is offered in two new dual-tone color schemes – White/Gold and Black/Gold. The White gold is inspired by frost White body paint with black and white contrast, although the all-black roof with gold inserts on roof lines gives a Dual-tone appearance. Although, the gold black scheme will feature an intense coffee bean black exterior black with gold accents on the outside and inside on the dashboard as well.
Some of the other notable things are Oyster White diamond Quilted leather seats with ventilated function for the first and second row. The equipment list and features remain unchanged it continues to boast a wireless charging pad, an 8.8-inch infotainment system enable with android auto and apple car play with wife compatibility, and so on. The SUV will make its debut in 2021 VIVO IPL second phase and the interesting thing is Tata has also introduced a ‘Safari Gold Hit challenge’ for this season. By Which if a batsman hit a ball for a six and the ball lands on either the display or promotion or at the podium, the brand will contribute Rs 2 lakh to the NGO called Akshaya Patra foundation. The main reason for that is the NGO is continuously working towards Health crisis relief throughout the country.
As for the engine specification, it continues to power with the same 2.0 Litre Kryotec four-cylinder diesel engine. Which is capable of generating 167 HP of maximum power output and 350 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is coupled with a 6-speed manual or an optional 6-speed torque converter. Tata launched Safari back in Feb and since the launch, it was well-received by buyers and last month it completed the 10,000 units milestone in just five months. While it directly rivals Hyundai’s newest SUV edition 6- 7- Seater Alcazar. The Alcazar has launched a few months ago and in just 2 months it has sold over 6,000 units in India. The Tata safari gold edition also gets 18-inch Charcoal black alloy wheels.
