2021 tata safari launching this month, 7-seater production version earlier named as Gravitas, showcased last year in Auto expo.

As of today tata giving tribute to their most popular SUV Safari, stating that it is missing the nameplate. Everyone thought that Hexa would be relaunched with the safari edition. Although the scenario is totally different, as now tata launching their 3-row Harrier with named as Safari. Earlier it was showcased at last year’s auto expo, with a production name as tata Gravitas. Tata will be launching their 3-row SUV on 26th January 2021.
In the teaser video, Tata showcased the evolution of Safari from Décor to the 7-seater SUV based on the impact 2.0 philosophy. The tata launched Safari back in 1998, and the manufacturing was done till 2019. Safari Stormed was on sale for over seven years before discounting in 2019. It is making a comeback and arrives in the showrooms later this month. The bookings will be commenced shortly according to the brand’s architecture. The new safari has lots to the harrier 5-seater SUV, as the exterior includes subtle changes like longer platform, tallest rear side, also the rear also gets a new design look. On the inside, we can expect new and updated features as well.
Powering the new safari, a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, sourced from fiat will be taken to produce 170 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties will be performed by a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 6-speed torque convertor for the top-end trim. Also, the cherry on top it is expected that safari will come with a four-wheel-drive configuration as well, and front disc brakes.
