Skoda has officially revealed sketches of its widely popular 7-seater SUV 2021 Skoda Kodaiq. The earlier Kodaiq was a global seller which was sold in over 60 countries and till date have even sold more than 6 lakh units globally. The car is all set to make its global appearance on 13th April followed by the domestic launch later in the 3rd quarter.
Taking about the changes applied to the new Kodaiq, the car will be getting some minor interior and exterior updates especially to the front facia and the rear, like the new headlamps and bumper design, large air vents at the centre and a muscular stance overall.
Talking about the new headlamp and taillamp designs, the new 2021 Skoda Kodaiq now rocks a sleeker and more stylish headlamp design and the same can be said for its complimenting taillight design, which embeds a high-tech technology that adapts to the intensity of light depending on the oncoming traffic. Other than that, the new grille design gets a more upright and hexagonal look than its previous model with double vertical slats. And as for the new reprofiled bumper, which now rocks a wider and lower air intake flanked by L-shaped elements with faux silver highlights.
For the rear the taillights are changed to a sleeker and more stylish look which improves the rear design giving the car a change from the traditional C-shaped taillight looks, the rear bumper can also be assumed to get a little tweak to give a similar overall look and as claimed by the company the new 2021 Skoda Kodaiq will rock a sleeker and refreshed rear appearance to mirror the frontal design. And lastly, the new Kodaiq will get a new alloy design to give the car a refreshed look. Now talking about the powertrain options which unlike its previous model will only be offered in petrol variant, to be exact a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre TSI four-pot petrol engine, churning a max power output of 190 PS and a max torque output of 320 Nm, which come mated with a 7 Speed DSG gearbox with a 4×4 drive as standard
