2021 RWD (Rear-wheel Drive) Mahindra Bolero Neo launched in the Indian market, price starting from Rs 8.48 lakh ex-showroom.

After many spied shots and images Mahindra and Mahindra Finally launched the Bolero Neo in the domestic market. The price range for the SUV starts from Rs 8.48 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom. The manufacturer offers the SUV in three variants N4, N8, and N10, the Mid-Variant priced at Rs 9.48 lakh. The makers preponed the launch date as it was scheduled to introduce on July 15, 2021. With the new Sub-4m Bolero Neo launch the car makers are hoping to gain some sales out of the car, as they have already done the same with the most popular Bolero and not so popular TUV300, the latter discontinued in India w a while ago.

Basically, the new Mahindra Bolero Neo is the rebadged version of TUV300, which was launched few years and has been discontinued after few years. The SUV is based on a Scorpio platform, and initially, it will launch as the facelift version of TUV300 but it changes the nameplate to get some attention as another automaker tata did with safari nameplate on harrier. The Bolero Neo comes with the same exterior design and interior design as in TUV300 with few subtle updates. The SUV consists of a redesigned front fascia with new headlights along with LED DRLs, wider air intake, fog lights, grille with chrome vertical slats, and so on.

The SUV retains its upright design elements boxy body structure and tall pillars from TUV300. As for the interior, it comes with a revised instrument cluster, a MID, beige fabric upholstery, armrest for the second row, 7-inch infotainment system, Cruise control, ABS with EBD, Dual airbags, height-adjustable driver seat, AC with eco mode, reverse camera and so on. As for performance, the Sub-4m SUV continues to be powered by a 1.5 Litre BS6 three-cylinder oil burner, which develops 100 HP of maximum power and 260 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes coupled with a 5-speed Manual transmission along with a start/stop button for better fuel economy. The SUV builds on ladder frame Chassis and delivers power to rear wheels.
