Nissan has come a long way since the launch of Micra in 1982 to the all-new Nissan Micra 2021 edition. Although the automaker discontinued the latest model of Micra when BS-6 emission norms came into effect a while ago and were left with only KICKS in the mid-size SUV segment in India.
- First Showcased at Paris motor show 2016
- New N-sport line up added to its variants list
- Nissan Micra 2021 comes with Euro 6D emission norms
The fifth-generation Micra showcased in Paris motor show 2016 received a whole lot of advancements in its design, the polarizing style exterior and the advancements in its interior made it a success after it came into production later that year. Initially, it was released in Europe in 2016 and with its success, it entered the global market in 2017.

This well-equipped Micra was deemed expensive in India but its radical approach to the Indian market made it a well-known and popular car in India. Now after four years and with BS6 norms, Nissan gave it a mild update with a few tweaks and engine options. Sleek headlamps with angular V-motion front grille, body lines, and the addition of new N-Sport to its variants Visa, Acenta, and Tekna make it a strong competitor among its rivals. Not just that various optional packages including N-design trim are available for the enthusiasts who want a unique design experience.
The all-new Nissan Micra 2021 is equipped with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine to follow EURO 6D emission norms. It provides an improved torque curve than its predecessor 1.5-liter engine. For performance and safety, it includes ABS, EBD, adaptive cruise control, hill assist, and much more. The interior of the vehicle remains mostly the same packing a great number of safety features, comfort, and convenience. The new upgrades which can be seen are high beam assist and emergency braking making it an optimum choice for the customers.
