Mini India today has announced the launch of 2021 version of mini, in three different variants. They are brought in our country through CBU route and offered in sole petrol engine. The bookings and test drives are officially commenced in India to your nearest dealerships. Mini 3-door priced at Rs 38 lakh, Mini Convertible priced at Rs 44 lakh and Mini John’s cooper works priced at Rs 45.50 lakh, ex-showroom. The hatch is offered in total of eleven different colours.
Speaking on the launch President of BMW Group India, said” Since inception authentic style and unique design and driving fun are timeless qualities that distinguish the iconic Mini. 20 years after the launch of the modern mini, the latest generation continues to reinvent itself all over again and redefines the emotional design”. The new 2021 Mini exterior design boasts with LED headlights integrated fog lamps, LED side indicators into the redesigned side scuttles, British flag inspired rear lights graphics, new air intakes and so on.
2021 Mini 3-door hatch and convertible comes powered by a 2.0 Litre four-cylinder twin power turbo petrol engine, which belts out 192 HP of maximum power and 280 Nm of peak torque at 1350Rpm-4600Rpm. However, the Mini JCW powered by 2.0 Litre motor develops 231HP and 320Nm. The powertrain for Convertible and 3-door hatch use is 7-speed Dual clutch Steptronic transmission and for JCW it uses 8-speed Steptronic sport transmission gearbox system. The JCW exterior design features red highlights, honeycomb grille, JCW bonnet stripes, contrast paint finish for roof and mirror front apron with integrated air ducts, and so on.
