Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki facelift with a similar price tag as its older counterpart at Rs 5.73 lakh for its base variant LXI and Rs 8.41 lakh for the top ZXi+ dual-tone AMT variant. However, the same model was launched in the European market many months ago and in Thailand few weeks ago. The new facelift model being a mid-cycle upgrade only carries minor design tweaks to its interior and exterior and one mechanical change.

Changes to the Exterior and Interior in the new facelift
Talking about the exterior changes, the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki facelift gets a new chrome honeycomb mesh grille with a slat in the middle give the front fascia a fresh look, new slightly tweaked bumper, slightly rounded headlamps, new contrast black or white roof in the top trim ZXi+ variant, and new diamond cut alloy wheels. The side and rear ends remain almost the same with a slight design tweak to the taillights.
The interior too remains almost the same with the exception of a newly added cruise control and a new silver highlights to some parts, other than that the new swift comes with the same 7-inch SmartPlay studio touchscreen infotainment system, a 4.2-inch MID cluster between the speed dials, flat bottom D-shaped steering and a reverse parking camera.
Apart from these cosmetic changes the new 2021 Maruti Suzuki facelift also get a new K12N Dual jet motor powered engine which the car borrows from its cousin the new Dzire and Baleno. The powertrain here is a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing upto 89hp of power and 113Nm of torque, with idle start/stop system and coupled with an optional 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox.
