Kia has today announced the launch of its updated models of 2021 Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet will be happing somewhere at the start of May. Both the cars have enjoyed nationwide popularity, and Seltos amongst them even have stayed in the top 3 selling SUVs of the country for quite an extended period of time, as of now the Seltos is the number 2 best-selling SUV of the month. Sonet on the other hand also have gotten a huge applaud from the audience and is amongst the top-selling compact SUV.
Now coming to the leaked features, which were from an unreleased brochure of the Kia Seltos. Earlier the company discontinued the HTX diesel automatic variant and was replaced by the HTK+ edition which came with an iMT option and now with the new 2021 Kia Seltos the company is planning to add a GTX(O) MT variant to the existing lineup. This GTX(O) variant will be adding a 6-speed manual transmission option to the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
Another upgrade is the new paddle shifter which will be coming in the New Seltos, although, this feature was already present in the ongoing number 1 SUV of this segment, Hyundai Creta. All the variant will now be getting the voice command feature of hello Kia, excluding the HTE, HTK and HTK+ variants, the voice command will now have some additional command lines to open/close the sunroof, set the AC temperatures and many more. Other than that, the car will also be getting dual-tone leather seats with red stitching for the GTX(O) variant and Brown-black seats with a honeycomb pattern for the HTX+ variant.
The new 2021 Kia Seltos will also be getting all the standard features like Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Wireless phone projection, automatic climate control system, Hill-start Assist Control, Brake Assist and electric sunroof.
