2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launched in the Indian market, with a BS6 compliant engine and some notable updates.

Kawasaki India motors have finally launched their best-selling model in the Indian market, Ninja ZX-10R. It is its price range starting from Rs 14.99 lakh ex-showroom. Currently, the bikes are offered with two color options, Lime Green and Flat Ebony Type 2. The New version comes with a lot of notable updates and changes.  The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja features all-LED lighting, updated tail section, an aerodynamic front cowl, and so on. Also, in recognition of the brand’s achievement in the superbike world championships, the bike has the river mark as well, making it the first non- supercharged bike in the lineup to have that mark.

2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R also features a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch digital TFT color instrument cluster, that can be paired with a smartphone using Kawasaki’s RIDEOLOGY App. The bike comprises a lot of riding aids like electronic cruise control, launch control, traction control, Ohlin’s steering damper, power modes, engine brake control, cornering management system, and Dual-channel ABS system. The bike comes with four riding modes as well, Sport, road rain, and rider, in these the rider mode is a custom mode. The 2021 Ninja ZX-10R built on an aluminum twin-spar frame and features an aluminum swingarm as well. The Bike rides on 43 mm BFF adjustable USD front forks and Showa BFRC adjustable rear monoshock absorber suspension.    

The braking is handled by a 330 mm dual-disc on the front wheel and a 220 mm disc on the rear wheel. The Disc and calipers are from Brembo. 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R powered with a BS-6 compliant 998 ccs liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder engine, which is capable enough to generate 203 PS of maximum power at 13,200 Rpm and 114 Nm of peak torque at 11,400 Rpm. The transmission is handled by a 6-speed sequential gearbox with a quick shifter available as standard.
