2021 Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Kawasaki Ninja H2R launched in the Indian market, priced from Rs 79.90 lakh.

Kawasaki has announced the launch of the 2021 version of Ninja H2R at a price tag of Rs 79.90 lakh ex-showroom, which is the earlier version with was the price tag of Rs 75.80 lakh. Although the styling and features remain unchanged, it still features a front fairing design, along with a single-sided swingarm, aerodynamic winglets, and a rider-only saddle. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends with sporty tire section 120/600 at the front and 190/650 at the rear. The suspension system is handled by 43mm inverted front forks and an Ohlins gas-charged monoshock with pre-load adjustable at the rear wheel.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R braking is handled by 330mm disc brakes with Brembo monobloc 4-piston caliper at the front and a single 250mm disc brake with a Brembo 2-piston calipers at the rear. The sports bike is built on a high-tensile steel frame, and weighs a scale of 216 Kg (Kerb weight), and has a fuel capacity of 17-litre. The 2021 Kawasaki Ninja H2R offered a single color option – Mirror coated matte Spark black. Ninja H2R features list boasts with cornering management function, traction control, engine brake control, and wheelie and side control.

The Ninja H2R continues to power by the same 998-cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled fed by a supercharger, which belts out 310 PS of maximum power at 14,000 Rpm and 165 Nm of peak torque at 12,500 Rpm. The powertrain comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox system along with dog-ring transmission which mainly used in MotoGP and Formula 1 races, with a slipper and assist clutch and a bi-directional quick shifter as standard. The Bosch sourced IMU has also an offers list, which showcased the bank angle on the fully digital instrument cluster and also records the maximum bank angle. Although, it should be noted that this particular model tracks the only model and illegal for roads, while it has no direct rival in India.
