2021 Jawa India has announced the launch of the Khakhi and Midnight grey color option in the India market; priced at Rs 1.93 lakh ex-showroom.

Crenzh republic two-wheeler manufacture Jawa recently launched the more powerful Jawa 42 2.1 with the blacked theme in the Indian market. The bike was well received by the buyers and is popular among bike enthusiasts. A couple of new paint schemes have been announced for the motorcycle celebrating 50 years of India winning the war back in 1971. The Khakhi and Midnight grey paint schemes come with a commemorative emblem featured with Indian army insignia along with laurel wreath on either side symbolizing the victory.

Although, compared with the ongoing model the new paint scheme also comes with few new subtle changes to the mechanicals of the bike. The engine area dual exhaust, headlamp casing, etc are added with black color, while the Matte black on the bike gives a premium look. The Jawa Khakhi and Midnight grey come priced at Rs 1.93 lakh ex-showroom each and consists of mechanical improvements as well. On the launch, the officials said the bike suspension, chassis, and exhaust have been updated for better ride quality and ground clearance, and the seat is also enhanced for relaxing posture riding.

All the mechanical changes have been made to the Jawa range of bikes in India and the new Khakhi and midnight grey paint scheme comes paired with a Dual-channel ABS. 2021 Jawa Khakhi and Midnight grey come powered by the same 293 ccs single-cylinder fuel-injected liquid-cooled DOHC engine, which develops 27 HP of maximum power and 27.02 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain comes coupled with a 6-speed transmission gearbox system. The bike rides on conventional lower arm telescopic front forks and a twin spring rear suspension system. As for the future classic legends are planning to launch the Yezdi brand in India later this year and a Scrambler also in the works.
