Honda has today announced the launch of the updated FY2021 version of the best-selling model Amaze in the Indian market. The Price range for the facelift comes starting from Rs 7.16 lakh ex-showroom, while the top-end trim comes priced at Rs 11.15 lakh ex-showroom. Although, the old Amaze base trim E has been continued in the Indian line-up. The old base variant was replaced by a new entry-level trim S. The second-generation Amaze has been offered in India since 2018, and now it gets the much-needed facelift with few updates.

The facelifted Amaze continues to be rivals segment leader Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura and Ford aspire. With no dimensional changes, it continues to measures 3995 mm in length, 1695 mm in width, 1498 mm in height, and 2470 mm in wheelbase in length. The 2021 Honda Amaze facelift is offered in three variants S, VX, and E.

2021 Honda Amaze facelift launched

As for performance, it continues to be powered with a 1.2 Litre i-VTec petrol engine, which belts out 89 HP of power and 110 Nm of torque. The second is a 1.5 Litre I-DTEC oil burner which develops 99 HP of maximum power and 200 Nm of peak torque. The transmission comes coupled with 5-speed manual transmission and an optional CVT automatic transmission gearbox system. The features lists comprise of Standard Dual front airbag, reverse parking sensors, a new set of LED headlamps, LED DRLs, auto climate control, multi-functional steering wheel, push start/stop, and so on.
