- Comparison verdict
Recently launched BS6 Isuzu MU-X comes with updated emission norms but still looks outdated from its features list, along with the engine has also downsized from 3.0 Litre to 1.9 Litre. While the manufacturer already introduced the 2nd generation MU-X in Thailand but didn’t in India they re-introduced the first generation without any updates. Although, the updated Toyota Fortuner got some advanced safety features, technology and offers both petrol and diesel engine with impressive power output as well. Fortuner is more affordable than Isuzu MU-X with more advanced features so if you have that kind of budget then you should go for Fortuner instead of MU-X. It seems that Isuzu MU-X won’t hurt the sales numbers of space king Fortuner.
