BMW Group India has today announced the launch of the X7 dark Shadow edition In the Indian market priced at Rs 2.02 crore ex-showroom. The BMW X7 Dark edition will be offered in an M-Sport design scheme at an introductory, while for the first time ever that the X model from the German manufacturer will be painted with a special frozen arctic grey metallic paint job. The SUV boasts highlights like exterior mirror bases, painted body column, the bars on the Kidney grille, BME roof rail high gloss shadow line, and black chrome finish on the frame.

It is also announced that the Dark edition will be limited to 500 units globally and it can be booked through the brand’s official website. As for India, it is brought through the CBU route (Completely built-up). BMW X7 comprises 22-inch M-light alloy wheels in V-Spoke design along with jet black Matte finish, M-Sport package, and BMW Laser light headlamps. X7 dark edition comes with a 6-seating configuration along with Captain seats on the Middle row and electrically adjustable comfort seats at the front row with a 3-set memory function.

As for performance, the BMW X7 comes powered by a 3.0 Litre six-cylinder oil burner, which belts out 400 HP of maximum power and 760 Nm of peak torque, can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 5.4 seconds. The powertrain comes mated with 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission system, along with M-Sport exhaust system ads to the aural character. The SUV comes with M-Sport automatic differential as standard along with electronically controlled locks. The SUV comes with safety features like Hill Assist, Hill descent control, park distance control, traction control, adaptive 2-axle air suspension and so more.
